Belgian Waffle Ride

Rebrand and product design



The Belgian Waffle Ride is a European-style cycling race held yearly around the US. I created a fresh look for the race, improving upon previous branding that was outdated and lacking reference to cycling.

The new brand maintains a reference to the Belgian seal and national colors, but transforms it with a more modern look centered around the image of a bike wheel. Powerful and in motion, the new type and imagery creates a sense of excitement around the race, promoting sign-ups and merch sales.

The rebrand includes a logo and brand guide, social advertisements, and an app design.
